Coffee and a Byte with the Principal

On Tuesday, April 3, at 8:15 a.m., parents met for Coffee and a Byte and learned how to access the Accelerated Reader site https://hosted22.renlearn.com/265629/HomeConnect you and your child can log in and look for books at your child's level as well as track your child's progress on book quizzes. Testing tips to help prepare our kids for the upcoming STAR tests were also shared. Exclusively at the Edison Gym: Edison's critically acclaimed production of "The Lion King" will be on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are now on sale for $5 (adults) and $3 (children). Children under 3 years old are free! Popcorn & refreshments will be sold. Seats are limited. Tickets have been selling fast. So, buy your tickets now at the front office.

Dear Dual Immersion Parents:

Thank you so much for all your help on Tuesday, April 17th for the Spanish partnered event with the Spanish Consulate.  The day went so well and the students had a wonderful time.  A special thank you to Cristina Coaguila for organizing our parent volunteers.  We could not have done it without your help!

Muchas gracias por toda la ayuda que nos dieron el martes, 17 de abril para el evento coordinado con la Embajada de España.  Pasamos un día estupendo y los estudiantes disfrutaron de las actividades.  Un agradecimiento especialmente a Cristina Coaguila por su ayuda en organizar los padres voluntarios.  Su ayuda fue un gran apoyo.  ¡Muchísimas gracias a todos!

Carnival of the Sea

Carnival of the Sea is our end-of-the-year carnival happening on Saturday, June 9th from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on the school playground. Students voted on a theme and this is what they picked. We can't wait to see all of our Edison families! We will have:

*fabulous inflatables. Click inflatables to see!!!

*dunk tank

*carnival games & prizes

*delicious carnival food

*a DJ

*live performances

*and much, much more!!!

Carnival of the Sea is organized by the TEEF. The money raised from this event will give us the opportunity to provide so much more for our children and their education.
