Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a life-changing, experiential learning program for girls in grades 3-6. Each season runs for 12 weeks. The coaches are volunteers from both the Edison staff as well as the community. The program combines training for a 3.1 mile running event, with self-esteem enhancing and uplifting workouts. The goal of the program is to encourage positive social-emotional, mental, spiritual and physical development.

Math Field Day Club
Math Field Day Club is an invitation-only club for 4th to 6th grade students. They are selected based on their high scores on last year’s Math CST, participation in the GATE program, and teacher recommendations. The goal of the club is to get prepared for the Math Field Day, which will take place in the spring, date TBD. It is a fun and exciting day when elementary grade students compete in both group and individual competitions. An awards ceremony follows the competition.
